First Illustrator picture


This was my first every assignment turned in for my Media class. It was also the first time I used Adobe Illustrator. Not the worst photo but also not the best as seen in the background. But I had fun making it.

Audio for Animation

 As said in my last post I talked about how I had a bad headache for over a week. Because of that I wasn't able to focus on doing any work. So I missed the classes where we learned how to use GarageBand. And since you can't get it on a pc without doing many weird and stupid things. I used a different program called BandLab. The design is based off of GarageBand but is meant for everyone. I also didn't need to download it. It is a great program but I didn't leave myself much time to make the music. So I made some type of background music and called it a day. It was fun exploring the program but sadly I couldn't dwell on it for too long.

 My name is Alex and I just recently moved back to the US. I just moved from Germany. I am here in this class because I am an animation major. I want to do wanted to do this major because I have always loved the feeling of knowing someone is using or enjoying the things I create. And I think that animation is a great way to accomplish that. Another reason is because cartoons, anime, and internet animated series like Murder Drones have had a huge impression on me.

Animation Project

These two images are assets that I made for my recent animation I have completed. Since this was my first real animation I wanted to put something meaningful in it. So I made it about a pet rabbit I had named Ruby. When she died it was a big event for me and making it the worst moment in my life. I spent a while making this and in my animation I spent a long time doing rotoscoping. If you know what rotoscoping is then you know how easy and yet difficult it can be. Also it took me much longer to complete my animation because I ended up getting a bad headache that lasted for over a week. Still haven't fixed it fully but I was able to get my project done. I also chose to do mostly do a black and white animation because I didn't want to deal with all the colors. Easier with less colors than a bunch. Also everything is in first person because I didn't want to draw a person. Also the head on the side of the truck is a drawing my bestfriend made. So I asked if I can use it and got...
